Amazing game! I'm planning to hack the setting to make it more of spectator sport for my next campaign.

One question tho and I apologize if this is already covered in the book, how would you handle ally NPCs? Would you just make them roll like a normal  hostile NPC against the enemies or do you treat them kinda like bonus/boost for the player rolls.

Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying the game.

As for NPCs, I'd recommend having them function as another player character that the group can collectively run. The characters are simple enough that it's easy enough to do so with the help of the GM. That's how I've handled it in the past. If that's too much to handle, it could just be handled as a narrative boon, having them tag along with another cadet and granting them some drive or skill boost for specific tests..

Phenomenal game, gorgeous art, a must add for anyone who plays TTRPGs!

Thanks for the kid words, Aaron! So glad you enjoyed the game.

I have been waiting and watching this game since day one. OMG, did it break my expectations. Super easy to pick up and play. Scratches that itch for both role play and co-op war gaming.
First time running time running this with a group of people who hadn't played it either, we were able to start playing and roll dice for in like 20 minutes.

I’ve been looking forward to this!!! The teamwork and tactical side of TTRPGs is my favorite, but it always depends on your table and GM if that will be highlighted. Teamwork and tactics are the name of the game here, so I’ve had so much fun from a mechanical stand point. The story aspect is so captivating as well! It’s a new role playing challenge navigating playing as a bunch of little genius kids in battle school. I love this!!! 🖤🤍

Okay, this is easily my most-anticipated game of 2024! So glad to see it at this stage in development!
